The perfect indoor activity for plant-loving kids! Come build a tiny world that your little one can care for at home.
In this fun edition of our terrarium workshop, kids will learn what a terrarium is, how to build their own, and how to maintain its unique micro-environment. A toned-down version of our classic terrarium workshop, this class is specifically geared for kids ages 6-12 with age-appropriate instruction.
Our Greenhouse experts will start with a brief lecture and then take your kiddos step-by-step as they create their very own terrarium. We’ll play with rocks and soil, make a mess, add in our plants, and give it a good water!
Attendees will get to go home with their very own terrarium full of living plants. Dinosaur toys and tiny trinkets will be available to make things extra fun!
Parents are welcome to participate as they help their child, but older teenagers and adults interested in building their own terrarium should sign up for one of our Classic Terrarium Workshops.
2025 Adult Terrarium Workshop Dates:
Workshop fee includes all necessary plants, materials, and supplies. Add-ons may be available for a fee.
