Why do you garden?
“I garden because it’s magic. I don’t care how many times I’ve done it, watching a single seed transform into a huge productive plant is pure magic. Just watching things grow, the smells, the sounds, the sun, the soil, the beauty of everything and the little quiet stories that are playing out everyday amongst the plants. I’m also deeply invested in how my garden connects to the ecosystem of its space. I love the insects that visit, the birds, and yes even the squirrels and rabbits (within reason)! It’s impossible to convey how much joy I get from my garden. A garden connects you to the natural world in a way few things can.”
